Big News for TRUTH Issue Contributors

We knew our TRUTH issue (Winter 2017) was full of talented writers and artists, and we are happy to report that we're not alone. Two essays from the issue—"Prospects for Survival" by Noam Chomasky and "You Are the Phenomenology," by Junper Pirze-winner Tim O'Keefe—have been selected for 2018's Best American Essays, guest-edited by Hilton Als.

And poet Martín Espada, whose "I Now Pronounce You Dead" was featured in the same issue, was just named the winner of this year's Ruth Lilly Poetry Prize from the Poetry Foundation. As the Poetry Foundation notes, the prize "honors a living US poet for outstanding lifetime achievement. Martín Espada is awarded the prize in recognition of his contribution to poetry. He is the first Latino poet to win this award since its inception in 1986." To read our #10Questions interview with Espada, click here.

Congratulations to our incredible contributors!
